Compatible Kenwood two-way radio battery

This 7.2V 1200mAh Ni-CD pack replaces the KNB-14 and KNB-15 series cells used in models such as the TK-260, TK-360, TK-270 and TK-370 families. It fits a wide range of handheld units including the TK-2100, TK-3100 and TK-3107 series. The pack is built with high-grade cells and ships new. It is not for users who need a different voltage or chemistry.

Sustained transmit performance

The nickel-cadmium construction delivers steady voltage during extended push-to-talk cycles, resisting the voltage sag that can cut range on long shifts. It is rated to survive six drops from six feet onto all sides without breaking or losing power. The chemistry handles repeated deep discharges better than some alternatives. It is not for operators who require the lighter weight or higher energy density of newer chemistries.

Direct replacement for KNB-14 and KNB-15

This pack upgrades ageing original cells that no longer hold a full charge, restoring talk time to factory levels. The 18-month warranty covers the replacement period for professional fleets. It works with existing tri-chemistry chargers already deployed for KNB-15 batteries. It is not for radios that require a proprietary smart-battery interface or a different form factor.

Which Kenwood radio models must I already own for this KNB-14/15 compatible pack to fit and operate?

It fits Kenwood TK-260, TK-270, TK-272, TK-278, TK-360, TK-370, TK-372, TK-373, TK-378, TK-388, TK-2100, TK-2102, TK-2107, TK-3100, TK-3101, TK-3102 and TK-3107 series radios.

Will the tri-chemistry charger that supports my older KNB-15 packs also charge this new 1200mAh Ni-CD battery correctly?

Yes, the supplier notes the tri-chemistry charger works with previous KNB-15 batteries and will charge this Ni-CD pack using the appropriate charge profile.
