Purpose and compatibility

This replacement battery powers Motorola XTS1500, XTS2500, PR1500 and MT1500 two-way radios. It suits public-safety, marine and industrial users who need a direct substitute for the original pack.

Build and daily handling

The Ni-MH pack is rated to survive six drops from six feet on every side without breaking or losing function. A moulded shell and recessed contacts resist damage during belt carry and rapid swaps in the field.

Thermals and runtime

Nickel-metal-hydride chemistry delivers steady output across the 7.2 V nominal range with minimal self-heating during extended transmit cycles. The 1525 mAh capacity supports full-shift operation before a recharge is required.
