Cat6 Gigabit patch cable

This BattleBorn Cat6 Ethernet cable provides a wired link for home and office networks. It connects PCs, hubs, cameras and other RJ45 devices at up to 1000 Mbps. The 7 ft length suits short runs between nearby equipment. The green jacket helps identify the connection in a busy patch panel.

Check port speed and cable run

Verify that your router, switch or NIC supports Gigabit Ethernet to use the full 1000 Mbps rating. Ensure the 7 ft reach covers the distance between your two devices without tension. Confirm both ends use standard RJ45 jacks; proprietary or keyed ports will not accept this plug.

Snagless boot and colour coding

The moulded snagless boot protects the locking tab from catching on neighbouring cables during installation or removal. The green colour lets you colour-code links by function, floor or VLAN at a glance. No software, drivers or additional adapters are bundled with this cable.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the BattleBorn 7 ft CAT6 cable and do I need any extra connectors?

The box contains the green Cat6 patch cable with RJ45 plugs on both ends and integrated snagless boots. No separate connectors or adapters are required for standard Ethernet ports.

The listing shows only a 7 ft green version — how do I decide if this length and colour suit my installation?

Choose the 7 ft length when the run between your router, switch, PC or camera is roughly that distance; the green jacket simply helps colour-code the link in a multi-cable setup.

What does the 1000 Mbps rating mean once the cable is plugged into my gigabit switch and PC?

It confirms the cable supports full gigabit throughput up to 1000 Mbps, so a 1000 Mbps network card and switch will negotiate at their maximum rated speed.
