Aluminium Carabiner Key Ring

The Baumgartens 41020 is a lightweight aluminium carabiner designed as a key ring for everyday carry. It attaches securely to bags or briefcases, keeping keys accessible while on the move. The spring-hinge mechanism allows quick release and snaps shut automatically after clipping. It is supplied in assorted colours.

Spring-Hinge Mechanism

The defining feature is the spring-hinge gate that opens easily for one-handed operation and closes tightly without manual effort. This mechanism ensures keys stay fastened during daily transport. The clip mimics a climber's carabiner but is explicitly not rated for climbing or load-bearing safety applications. RoHS compliance confirms restricted substance limits are met.

Everyday Key Capacity

The ring comfortably holds a standard set of house, car and office keys for daily use. Aluminium construction keeps weight minimal while resisting corrosion in pockets or bags. It runs out of practical space if bulky fobs or large key bunches are added, and the gate opening limits attachment to thin straps or small loops only.
