Badge reel with 30" cord and belt clip

The Baumgartens 68814 badge reel extends thirty inches on a heavy-duty cord and secures with a belt clip. It holds an ID card, badge holder or keys and retracts automatically after each use. The construction is designed for repeated daily handling.

Suited for staff who need quick.

Workers who must present credentials many times a day will appreciate the long reach and secure clip. Buyers who need a lockable reel, a shorter tether or a lanyard-style attachment should look at a different design.

30-inch extension length

The cord pays out to thirty inches, which sets the maximum distance between the clip and the badge reader. Verify that this reach matches the mounting height of your readers before ordering.

Questions about this item

How far does the 30" cord extend for badge access?

The reel provides a full 30 inch extension so you can swipe or scan your ID without unclipping it.

What does the belt clip attach to for secure mounting?

The heavy duty clip fastens onto a belt waistband or pocket edge and holds the reel firmly in place.

How do you connect an ID badge to the reel, and what step is often missed?

Thread the badge holder or key ring onto the end fitting and snap it closed; the common mistake is leaving the snap partially open so the badge can detach.
