Pure Base 501 Airflow — ATX Full Tower

The Pure Base 501 Airflow Black is a compact ATX full-tower chassis built for users who want high airflow without a windowed side panel. It supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ATX motherboards and ships in a black ABS and steel finish.

Installation and common issues

Two Pure Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans come pre-installed at the front and rear, so the case is ready for power as soon as the board is mounted. Dust filters on the bottom, front and top lift out for cleaning, and the cable-routing channels keep wiring tidy; the only limitation is the 180 mm maximum power-supply length, which rules out some longer units.

Capacity and headroom

Graphics cards up to 368 mm fit comfortably, and CPU coolers up to 178 mm clear the side panel. The front accepts radiators up to 360 mm, the top up to 240 mm and the rear up to 140 mm. Storage includes two internal 3.5-inch bays and five 2.5-inch mounts, while seven expansion slots handle full-length add-in cards.

Questions about this item

Will a 368 mm graphics card fit without hitting the front radiator?

The case allows up to 368 mm GPU length, but a front-mounted 360 mm radiator will reduce usable space; plan the layout before buying.

Can I install a 360 mm radiator in the top if I keep the front fans?

Top radiator support is limited to 240 mm, so a 360 mm unit only fits at the front; the front includes two pre-installed 140 mm fans.

What motherboard sizes are supported and how many 2.5" drives can I add?

ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ATX boards are supported; five internal 2.5" drive bays are available alongside two 3.5" bays.
