Versatile ATX Mid Tower

The be quiet! PURE BASE 600 BG021 is a steel ATX Mid Tower case finished in black without a side window or LED lighting. It accepts Micro ATX, ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and includes two external 5.25 inch drive bays plus three internal 3.5 inch bays. Seven expansion slots provide room for full-length add-in cards.

Flexible cooling and storage layout

Two Pure Wings 2 fans are pre-installed: one 140 mm unit at the front and one 120 mm unit at the rear. Optional mounts allow an additional 120 mm or 140 mm fan at the front and up to three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans at the top. The top cover vent adjusts between closed, partially open and fully open positions, the last also supporting a radiator up to 360 mm. Repositionable HDD slots and a removable optical drive cage free space for longer graphics cards or custom loops.

Silent-focused builders

Builders who prioritise low noise will appreciate the comprehensive sound insulation on the top, side and front panels alongside the pre-installed fans. The three dedicated radiator areas suit custom water-cooling projects. Users who want a tempered-glass window, integrated RGB lighting or a smaller footprint should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How many 3.5-inch drive bays are available before I need to rearrange the internal layout?

Three internal 3.5-inch drive bays are provided; the HDD cage is repositionable so you can move it to free space for longer graphics cards or radiators.

What happens to noise and thermals if I close the top vent and run the system all day?

Closing the adjustable top cover vent seals the sound-insulated top panel, so the two pre-installed Pure Wings 2 fans run quieter while still exhausting through the rear and front dust filters.

Which motherboard form factors fit without buying extra brackets or standoffs?

The case supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX motherboards natively with the included standoffs and I/O shield cut-out.
