Compact POS cash drawer for retail and hospitality

The BEELTA INC. BX1316W is a 13 inch cash drawer with a 16.1 inch overall width, designed for point of sale systems in shops, cafés and service counters. It provides five bill slots and five coin slots plus a media slot for cheques or large notes. The unit operates on 24V power and connects via RJ11 or RJ12 to compatible receipt printers.

Printer-driven installation with removable tray

The drawer ships with an RJ11 cable and opens automatically when driven by a supported thermal printer such as Epson, Star or Citizen models. A key lock and an emergency release on the bottom provide manual override. The cash tray lifts out on ball-bearing slides after pressing the left handle up and the right handle down; misaligned handles are the most common cause of a stuck tray.

Verify printer interface and voltage before ordering

Confirm that your receipt printer supplies a 24V RJ11 or RJ12 drawer port; other voltages or connector types will not operate the solenoid. The drawer measures 16.1 by 13 by 4 inches, so check the available counter space. No additional mounting hardware is included, and the unit is rated for over 2000000 open-close cycles.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the drawer cycles correctly after connecting it to my receipt printer?

The drawer is tested to over 2,000,000 operations; after hooking the included RJ11 cable to a compatible printer, send a test print — the drawer should pop open automatically, confirming the 24V solenoid and ball-bearing slide are functioning.

What ships in the box and what must I source separately?

The package contains the 16.1 x 13 x 4 inch white cash drawer with removable 5-bill/5-coin tray, an RJ11 cable, two keys and a user manual; you only need to provide a receipt printer with an RJ11/RJ12 port to enable auto-open.

Which version of the BX1316W should I choose for a standard 24V POS setup?

The BX1316W is a single 24V model with a white SPCC chassis, 5 bill and 5 coin slots plus a media slot; no alternative voltages or capacities are offered, so this unit fits any standard printer-driven POS using RJ11/RJ12.
