Complete Recording Package

The Behringer TM1 Dark Edition arrives as a full recording package built around a large-diaphragm condenser microphone. It is intended for streamers, podcasters and home-studio owners who need a ready-to-use solution for vocal and instrument capture.

Cardioid Polar Pattern

The microphone uses a cardioid pickup pattern that isolates the sound source directly in front of it while rejecting off-axis noise. This single characteristic determines whether the unit suits solo voice work or requires a different pattern for group recordings.

Low Self-Noise Design

An equivalent noise level of 4.5 dBA SPL keeps the noise floor extremely low during normal use. The internally shock-mounted 1.0" gold-sputtered capsule reduces handling vibration without external power or cooling requirements.

Questions about this item

How does the 1.33" gold-sputtered diaphragm affect recordings in a real setup?

The large diaphragm captures vocals and instruments with high sensitivity and a wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, reproducing subtle nuances clearly.

What does the cardioid polar pattern actually reject when I am streaming?

The cardioid pattern focuses on sound directly in front of the microphone while minimising off-axis noise and feedback from the sides and rear.

What mounting hardware does the microphone need to attach to a boom arm?

The microphone uses a standard thread compatible with common shock mounts and boom-arm adapters for secure positioning.
