Replacement battery for Inspiron G3 and G5

The Beisite 266J9 is a new lithium-ion battery built for Dell Inspiron G3 15 3590, G5 15 5500 and Inspiron 14 5490 models. It replaces part numbers 266J9, 31CP6/56/77 and several OEM codes. Owners of those laptops can restore original run time with a direct-fit unit.

51Wh capacity at 11.4V

The pack stores 51 watt-hours at 11.4 volts, matching the factory specification for the listed Inspiron G3, G5 and 14 5490 chassis. It supports typical office workloads and media playback for several hours. Heavy gaming or sustained CPU loads will deplete the charge faster than light use.

Thermals and power draw in normal use

Lithium-ion chemistry keeps self-discharge low during storage and daily cycling. The battery operates at the system's native voltage without additional converters, so heat generation stays within the laptop's designed thermal envelope. No audible noise is produced by the pack itself.

Yes, it matches the 11.4V 51Wh specification used by the G3 15 3590 and the listed Inspiron 14 5490 models, so the existing charger works normally.

Power on the laptop; the BIOS and Windows will show the correct 11.4V 51Wh capacity and the part number 31CP6/56/77 in the battery information screen.

Does the 266J9 pack include the 31CP6/56/77 battery only, or are installation screws provided?
