Five-foot Cat 5e patch cable

This Belkin A3L791-05-BLU-M cable connects computers, routers or switches in a Local Area Network. It is built to the Category 5e standard and terminated with RJ-45 plugs on both ends. The five-foot length suits short runs between adjacent devices.

UTP construction with moulded RJ-45 plugs

Unshielded twisted-pair wiring reduces crosstalk while keeping the cable flexible for routing around desks or through cable trays. The blue jacket makes the link easy to identify in a crowded patch panel. Moulded strain relief on each connector protects the termination from repeated insertion and removal.

Replaces worn or missing Cat 5e jumpers

Use it to restore a damaged patch lead or to add a new device to an existing 10/100 Base-T network. The Cat 5e rating supports Fast Ethernet speeds without requiring a higher-category cable. Buyers needing Gigabit or multi-gigabit performance, longer runs or shielded cable should select a different specification.
