25 ft Orange Cat5e Patch Cable

This 25-foot Category 5e patch cable uses RJ45 male connectors on both ends to link network devices in a local area network. The orange jacket provides quick visual identification among multiple cable runs. Strain relief moulding protects the connector junction from sharp bends that can degrade signal quality over time.

Home and office LAN installs needing colour-coded

The snagless boot eases routing through crowded racks or conduit without catching on adjacent cables. Builders who require shielded cabling for electrically noisy environments or Category 6 performance for higher bandwidth should select a different specification.

Unshielded Cat5e rated for 10/100 Base-T

The cable meets Category 5e electrical standards and is intended for 10 and 100 megabit Ethernet segments. It does not carry a shielding layer, so noise immunity relies on balanced twisted-pair construction alone.

Questions about this item

What length and connector type does this cable have for a 25 ft run?

The cable is 25 ft long and uses RJ45 male connectors on both ends for standard Ethernet ports.

How does the snagless boot help during installation?

The snagless boot covers the locking tab so it will not catch on other cables when you pull the patch cord through tight spaces.

When should the cable be replaced to maintain 100 Base-T performance?

Replace it if the jacket shows kinks, the connectors feel loose, or the strain relief boots crack after repeated bending.
