Belkin Cat 6 patch cable, 50 ft

This Belkin A3L980-50-ORG-S is a Category 6 patch cable built with RJ45 male connectors on both ends. The orange jacket is 50 ft long and uses an unshielded, snagless design for easier routing through tight spaces.

Suited for standard Gigabit Ethernet runs

It fits home and office networks that need a reliable Cat 6 link between a router, switch or wall jack and a PC, printer or access point. Builders who require shielded cable for high-interference environments or plenum-rated jacket for air-handling spaces should look elsewhere.

Cat 6 rating and 50 ft length decide fit

The Category 6 specification supports up to Gigabit speeds over the full 50 ft distance, so the cable works for typical desktop and patch-panel connections. If the installation demands a longer run or a higher category rating, this cable will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will the 50 ft Cat 6 cable work with my older Cat 5e router and switch?

Yes, the RJ45 connectors are backwards compatible, so the cable will link at the highest speed both devices support.

How can I verify the cable is performing at Cat 6 speeds after I plug it in?

Check the port LEDs on your router or switch — a solid or blinking light indicates an active link — then run a local speed test between two wired devices.

Does the box include any couplers or wall plates, or do I need to buy them separately?

The package contains only the 50 ft orange patch cable with snagless RJ45 plugs on both ends; couplers, wall plates or tools are not included.
