This Belkin A7L704-1000-RED is a 1000 ft bulk Cat 6 Ethernet cable designed for horizontal runs in local area networks. It connects network outlets to patch panels in commercial and residential installations. The red jacket provides easy visual identification among other cable types. It is supplied new on a pull box for convenient deployment.

Solid 24 AWG conductors with pair separator

The cable uses eight solid 24 AWG copper wires arranged in four twisted pairs with a central separator. This construction maintains consistent pair geometry to meet Cat 6 electrical requirements. Solid conductors are intended for fixed horizontal wiring and are not suitable for repeated flexing or patch cord use. Installers should terminate to compatible jacks or patch panels.

Supports Gigabit Ethernet and 1.2 Gbps ATM

The cable exceeds TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 and ISO/IEC 11801 Cat 6 specifications for horizontal cabling. It comfortably handles Gigabit Ethernet, 1.2 Gbps ATM and broadband video signals up to the standard 100 metre channel limit. It does not carry power-over-Ethernet ratings or outdoor UV resistance, so it is not for PoE-heavy deployments or external runs.
