Secure Charge Cabinet for Classrooms
The Belkin B2B117 is a lockable cabinet designed to store and charge up to 10 tablets, Chromebooks or e-readers simultaneously. It suits schools and training centres that need a single secure unit for mixed device fleets. Wide slots accommodate various device sizes while keeping cables organised.
Passive Cooling and Surge Protection
The cabinet relies on natural airflow through its ventilated steel enclosure so it operates silently without fans. An industrial-quality power strip provides 10 wide-spaced surge-protected AC outlets, allowing each device to use its own charger without overcrowding. Cable routing channels keep cords tidy and reduce accidental disconnection.
Sustained Classroom Duty Cycle
During back-to-back classes the unit remains cool because it dissipates only the heat from the connected chargers, not an internal power supply. The stackable design lets multiple cabinets share a single wall outlet strip while each maintains independent locking. Continuous operation is limited only by the duty cycle of the individual device chargers plugged into the cabinet.

Questions about this item
How do I mount the B2B117 cabinet on a cart, and what step is often missed?
The unit is cart-mountable and can also sit on a desktop; the step often missed is bolting it securely to the cart frame so it cannot shift during moves.
What part of the B2B117 will need replacement after extended classroom use?
The industrial-quality power source with 10 surge-protected outlets is the component most likely to require replacement after repeated daily charging cycles.
What limit appears first when the B2B117 runs continuously with all 10 bays occupied?
The 10 wide-spaced surge-protected outlets set the hard limit; once all 10 are in use no further devices can be charged until a bay frees up.
