Four-Port HDMI Switch

The BENFEI 000365black is a 4×1 HDMI switch that routes four source devices to a single display. It suits gamers and streamers who connect consoles, media players or a laptop to one TV or monitor and want to change inputs without swapping cables.

Power and Source Requirements

The unit requires the supplied USB-C power cable connected to a 5 V source before it will operate. It only detects sources that are powered on and active; inactive or sleeping devices are ignored. Automatic switching occurs when a new source is connected or when the current signal drops out.

Build Integration

A fixed 4 ft pigtail cable connects the switch output to the display, eliminating one separate cable and reducing loose-connection risk. The switch passes up to 4K at 60 Hz and 2K at 144 Hz over HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.3, supports 8/10/12-bit colour depth and passes uncompressed 7.1, 5.1 or 2-channel audio including Dolby Atmos and DTS. Transmission is rated to 30 ft.

Questions about this item

Does the switch come with a power adapter or do I need to buy a USB-C charger separately?

A USB-C power cable is included in the box; you must supply a 5 V USB charger or powered port to run the switch.

The listing mentions 4K at 60 Hz and 2K at 144 Hz — which resolution should I pick for a PS5?

The PS5 outputs 4K at 60 Hz, so select the 4K@60Hz mode; 2K@144Hz is intended for high-refresh-rate monitors.

The headline says 30 ft HDMI transmit — will I get a stable 4K 60 Hz picture at that full distance?

Yes, adaptive equalisation allows up to 30 ft of cable run while maintaining 4K@60Hz signal integrity.
