A new 250 W projector lamp module rated for 3,000 hours, supplied as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly for straightforward installation
The BenQ PB8125 projector lamp is a new 250W P-VIP bulb supplied in a fully assembled housing for direct installation. It matches the original manufacturer part number 65.J4002.001 and is built to ISO9001 quality standards using components from established bulb makers. This module suits owners of compatible BenQ projectors who need a factory-specification light source without additional assembly.
In normal operation the lamp draws its rated 250W and is designed to reach a stable operating temperature within the projector’s existing cooling system. The housing aligns with the original airflow path so fan noise remains consistent with the projector’s standard acoustic profile. No external power adaptation is required because the connector matches the factory socket.
The lamp is rated for 3000 hours of typical use before brightness declines to the point where replacement is recommended. Output and colour balance remain steady across long sessions because the bulb and housing are validated for full-duration ignition and voltage stability. Projectors used continuously for presentations or signage will see consistent performance until the rated life is reached.

Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, then remove the lamp cover. Unscrew the old module, insert the new 65.J4002.001 housing without touching the bulb glass, tighten the screws, and replace the cover before resetting the lamp timer in the menu.
The P-VIP bulb cannot be serviced separately; once brightness drops near the 3000-hour mark, replace the entire 65.J4002.001 module. Clean the projector air filters regularly to prevent overheating and extend lamp life.
The 3000-hour rated lamp life is the primary limit; sustained full-power operation accelerates brightness decay and may trigger the projector's thermal protection, forcing a cool-down before the rated hours are reached.
