Bethesda Softworks 17534 Deathloop Standard Edition ps5 video game

Deathloop Standard Edition PS5

Deathloop Standard Edition is a first-person action game from Arkane Lyon for PlayStation 5. Players take the role of Colt, an assassin trapped in a timeloop on the island of Blackreef. The game blends single-player narrative with optional multiplayer invasion mechanics. It is built for players who enjoy immersive sim design and replayable scenarios.

Eight targets and a repeating day

Each loop tasks Colt with eliminating eight key targets before the day resets. Knowledge, weapons and abilities carry over between cycles, encouraging experimentation with stealth or combat approaches. Progress stalls if a target is missed or if Julianna eliminates Colt first. The structure rewards observation and adaptation over linear completion.

Optional multiplayer invasion

A second player can control rival assassin Julianna and enter another campaign to protect the loop. This feature is entirely optional and can be disabled for a purely solo experience. Buyers who want a strictly single-player game without any online interaction should note the mechanic exists but is not mandatory.
