The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr for Xbox One

The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr is an expansion chapter for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game on Xbox One. It brings the Season of the Dragon storyline to the console platform. Players explore the Khajiit homeland of Elsweyr, a region torn by warfare and dragon attacks. The release includes the new Necromancer class, allowing manipulation of the undead in combat.

Suited for ESO players ready for a major chapter

This release suits existing Elder Scrolls Online players on Xbox One who want to continue the year-long Season of the Dragon narrative. It is designed for those interested in the tactical Necromancer playstyle and the exploration of a new zone. Buyers who do not own the base game cannot play this chapter. Players without an active Xbox Live Gold subscription cannot access the online servers.

Includes the Necromancer class as the headline

The defining specification is the inclusion of the Necromancer class, a character archetype that channels death magic to summon undead and exploit corpses. This class introduces a tactical combat loop centred on positioning and resource management. The chapter also unlocks the Elsweyr zone with its dragon-hunt events and the continuing war narrative released throughout 2019.

Questions about this item

Does this game disc install directly on an Xbox One console?

Yes, the retail disc installs on any Xbox One console; the mandatory install step that downloads the base game and Elsweyr chapter data is the part most people skip.

How do I access the Necromancer class after installing the disc?

Create a new character and select Necromancer during class selection; the class unlocks immediately because the Elsweyr chapter licence is on the disc.

Will I need to buy the later DLC packs released in 2019 to finish the Season of the Dragon story?

The disc contains only the Elsweyr chapter; the Q3 and Q4 2019 DLC packs are sold separately to complete the year-long narrative.
