12-Device Charging Cabinet for Classrooms

This steel cabinet stores and charges up to 12 devices with screens up to 17.3 inches. It meets ANSI/BIFMA standards and carries UL safety certification. Locking front and rear doors protect the contents while the cart is stationary or moving. A built-in cable management bar keeps power cords organised.

Check device dimensions

Verify that each laptop, Chromebook or tablet fits within the 17.3-inch screen limit and that the total power draw suits the cabinet’s internal charging layout. Ensure the installation area allows the locking doors to open fully and that the floor can support the all-steel construction. Confirm the cart’s mobility matches the intended room layout.

Replaces basic open shelving

The jump is worth it when an organisation needs simultaneous, secure charging for a fleet of devices in shared spaces such as classrooms, libraries or training centres. It is not suited for environments requiring more than 12 bays or for devices with screens larger than 17.3 inches.

Questions about this item

Does the cabinet ship with charging cables or power strips for the 12 devices, or must they be purchased separately?

The cabinet includes a cable management bar for organising cords; power strips and device cables are not included and must be supplied by the user.

Should I choose this 12-bay model or a larger cabinet if I need to charge more than 12 devices at once?

This unit holds exactly 12 devices up to 17.3 inches; if you need simultaneous charging for more than 12 units you will require an additional or larger cabinet.

Will the ANSI/BIFMA and UL certifications still apply once I load the cabinet with 12 laptops and wheel it between classrooms?

The cabinet is tested to ANSI/BIFMA standards and UL safety-certified as a complete unit, so the certifications remain valid when fully loaded and moved on its casters.
