  • Q235 carbon steel frame supports 500lb / 226.8kg without wobble
  • Lockable caster wheels enable smooth relocation of loaded rack
  • Top shelf adds extra storage space for accessories
  • Vented sides promote airflow to keep equipment cool

12U 18in Deep Server Rack

This 12U open-frame rack accepts standard 19in rack-mount equipment up to 18 inches deep. It is intended for installers who need a compact, mobile enclosure for audio, video or network gear in studios, offices or commercial spaces.

500lb Capacity with 300lb Vented Load

The welded Q235 carbon-steel frame is rated for 500 lbs static capacity, while the supplier notes a 300 lb practical limit for ventilated operation. Strategically placed cooling holes promote airflow, but the open design offers no active cooling for densely packed or high-heat loads.

Removable Panels Locking Casters Top Shelf

Removable side panels simplify wiring and maintenance from either side. Four lockable caster wheels allow relocation without tools, and the integrated top shelf adds a surface for accessories. The semi-open construction means no front or rear doors for security or dust protection.

How can I confirm the 500lb rated frame is stable once assembled and loaded?

Verify the Q235 carbon steel frame does not wobble, the four lockable casters hold on a level floor, and the removable side panels align flush.

The supplier description states complete accessories are included; expect cage nuts, screws, casters, side panels and the top shelf in the box.
