15.6" LCD KVM Console

This 15.6-inch LCD KVM console integrates an 8-port HDMI switch, letting administrators manage eight computers from a single rack-mountable drawer. It fits a standard 19-inch 1U slot and includes metal rails for cabinets 600 to 800 mm deep. The unit ships with eight HDMI KVM cables and a power supply.

Server rooms and multi-system labs

Suited for operators who need direct, local access to several servers without a network KVM. The built-in display and keyboard tray eliminate the need for a separate monitor cart. Not for environments that require remote-over-IP management or dual-monitor output from the console itself.

Eight-port HDMI switching

The switch handles eight HDMI sources and presents them on the integrated 15.6-inch panel. OSD menus, hotkey sequences and front-panel buttons provide three ways to change the active port. An extra USB port is available for attaching an external keyboard, mouse or monitor.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 1U rack unit produce when left running continuously?

The 1U design fits a standard 19-inch rack and draws power only for the 15.6-inch LCD and the 8-port HDMI switch, so heat and fan noise stay low in a 600-800 mm cabinet.

Which cables or adapters must I already have to connect eight servers to the HDMI ports?

The package includes four 5-foot and four 6-foot HDMI KVM cables, so no extra video or USB leads are required for eight HDMI-equipped computers.

Will the console work with older servers that only output VGA or DVI?

The switch accepts HDMI input only; legacy VGA or DVI sources need an active converter before they can be connected to the eight ports.
