What this shelf is and who uses it

A 1U vented rack shelf designed for 19-inch server cabinets and network racks. It arrives disassembled so you can configure it to suit the equipment you need to mount. The tray includes M6 screws with cage nuts and M5 screws with nuts for quick installation. Suitable for IT hardware, networking gear and similar devices.

The spec that decides fit

Depth is 8 inches (203 mm) and the front edge has no lip, which saves rack space while the front stiffener and 1.2 mm side brackets keep the tray rigid. Maximum load is rated at 22 pounds. Verify that your equipment fits within this depth and weight limit before ordering.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for administrators mounting lightweight switches, patch panels or small appliances in a standard 19-inch rack where a shallow, lip-free tray is preferred. Not suited for buyers who need a deeper shelf, a lipped front to prevent equipment sliding forward, or a higher weight capacity than 22 pounds.

Will the 1.2 mm side brackets and front stiffener hold a 22 lb load without bending?
