200 ft outdoor-rated CAT6 cable with UV-resistant waterproof jacket for burial, supporting up to 550 MHz bandwidth and 1000 Mbps speeds
This 200 ft CAT6 Ethernet cable is built for outdoor and direct-burial installations. A UV-resistant PVC LLDPE jacket protects the solid 24AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors from moisture and sunlight. It terminates in standard RJ45 connectors for broad device compatibility.
The cable supports 10/100/1000 Mbps links with bandwidth up to 550 MHz, making it suitable for connecting modems, routers, switches and patch panels in exterior runs. It is explicitly not suited for Power over Ethernet applications, so installers needing PoE should look elsewhere.
Rated performance reaches 250 MHz and 1 Gbit/s, providing comfortable headroom for streaming, gaming and general data transfers across the full 200 ft length. Beyond gigabit speeds the cable runs out of specification, so multi-gigabit backbones will require a higher-category link.

DSL or Wi-Fi modems, wired routers, hubs, switches, and patch panels with RJ45 connectors are required for this cable to function.
Yes, the cable supports 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps speeds, so it will operate at the maximum speed your older 10/100 Mbps hardware allows.
Check the network adapter status on your computer or router interface; it should report a 1000 Mbps (1 Gbit/s) link speed when connected to gigabit-capable hardware.
