  • Extend Ethernet reach in tight spots
  • 10 cm downward 90° angle fits behind furniture
  • Male-to-female RJ45 protects device ports from wear
  • Cat6 rated for 250 MHz and 1000 Mbps throughput
  • Backwards compatible with Cat5, Cat5e and Cat7 cables

Two-Pack Cat6 Right-Angle Extenders

This two-pack provides 10 cm Cat6 extension cables with a 90-degree downward angle. They extend an existing Ethernet connection to a network device in tight spaces behind furniture or a wall-mounted TV. The male-to-female RJ45 design acts as a sacrificial connector to protect the device port. Each cable supports bandwidth up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 1000 Mbps.

Check Port Orientation And Clearance

Verify that the device RJ45 port accepts a downward-facing plug so the cable exits toward the floor. Ensure at least 45 mm of depth behind the equipment for the angled boot and strain relief. Confirm the existing cable run uses Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 so the link negotiates at the rated speed. The extender adds a connection point; test the link after installation.

Shielded Plugs With Gold Contacts

The crystal-head plugs feature a top-mounted latch shrapnel and gold-plated contacts for durable mating cycles. Downward routing keeps cables flush against walls or cabinet backs, reducing snag risk in network closets. Backward compatibility with Cat5, Cat5e and Cat7 patch cords means the extenders work with legacy and newer cabling. The two-pack lets you protect two device ports simultaneously.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include two complete 10 cm angled cables or do I need extra connectors?

The pack contains two ready-to-use Cat6 extension cables, each 10 cm long with an RJ45 male plug on one end and an RJ45 female jack on the other. No additional connectors are required.

Should I choose the 250 MHz Cat6 version or a higher-category cable for my 1000 Mbps link?

These cables are rated for 250 MHz bandwidth and support data rates up to 1000 Mbps, matching Gigabit Ethernet. They are also backward compatible with Cat5 and Cat5e and can be used alongside Cat7 cables.

Will the 90-degree downward plug fit behind my wall-mounted TV without stressing the port?

The downward 90-degree design points the cable toward the floor, keeping the run tight against the wall. This relieves strain on the device port and works well in shallow spaces behind TVs or furniture.
