31.5 Inch Privacy Filter for 16:9 Screens

This privacy screen filter fits 31.5 inch monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is designed for users who handle sensitive data in open offices, shared workspaces or public areas. The filter narrows the viewing angle so only the person sitting directly in front of the display can read the content.

Anti-Glare Surface with Dual Finish Options

The reversible filter offers a matte side that cuts external glare and a glossy side for a clearer picture. It blocks 96% of UV light and reduces blue light by 65% to lessen eye strain during long sessions. A scratch-resistant coating protects the monitor surface from daily wear.

Exact Fit Requires 697 mm by 392 mm Active Area

This filter only works when the display's active area measures 27.4 inches wide by 15.4 inches high. Buyers must verify these dimensions before ordering because diagonal size alone does not guarantee compatibility. The package includes attachment strips and slide-mount tabs for two installation methods.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the privacy filter to my 31.5 inch monitor and which step causes the most alignment issues?

Use the included attachment strips or slide-mount tabs on the 697 mm by 392 mm active area; the step most people get wrong is removing the protective liner before aligning the filter edges to the screen bezel.

What part of the filter will need replacement first with daily use?

The anti-scratch surface coating on the reversible glossy or matte side wears down over time, reducing glare reduction and privacy effectiveness before the filter material itself fails.

At what viewing angle does the privacy effect stop working if I keep the monitor brightness high?

The filter darkens the screen at 30° to 60° off-centre; raising brightness shifts the effective cutoff toward 60°, so privacy is lost at wider angles sooner than at lower brightness.
