48-Port Cat6A Shielded Patch Panel

The BFKK panel fits a standard 19-inch rack in a single 1U space and provides 48 shielded RJ45 ports. It is built for installers who need a high-density, tool-free termination point for Cat6A, Cat6, Cat7 or Cat5e cabling in server rooms or wiring closets.

Coupler-Based Installation Limits

Each port uses a pass-through coupler instead of a punch-down block, removing the need for 110 or Krone tools and cutting installation time by roughly 80 percent. The coupler design also means the panel cannot be re-terminated in the field; a damaged link requires swapping the individual coupler rather than re-punching the conductor.

Capacity and Future Headroom

Forty-eight ports give ample room for large patch fields, while the removable rear cable-management bar secures bundles with zip ties to reduce strain on the keystones. If requirements change, individual couplers can be replaced with fibre adapters, coax connectors or HDMI and VGA modules, although the 1U height caps the total port count at 48.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 48-port panel over a 12, 16 or 24-port version?

The 48-port panel provides more expansion and upgrade capability than 12, 16 or 24-port panels, fitting a 1U 19-inch rack space.

What does the 10G speed rating mean for daily use?

Gold-plated 8P8C RJ45 keystones support up to 10G Ethernet, so the panel handles 10G network traffic without bottlenecks.

How does the shielded Cat6A interface limit real-world performance?

Shielded Cat6A couplers cap the link at 10G speeds and protect against interference, while the removable back bar with zip ties prevents cable deformation and keystone loosening.
