Questions about this item

How often should the 450 lb Class 4 gas cylinder be replaced under normal office use?

The cylinder is a sealed hydraulic-pneumatic unit with no user-serviceable parts; replacement is only needed if the chair no longer holds height or the 6" stroke becomes uneven.

What is the first limit reached when the chair is kept at maximum 17.2 inch extension all day?

The 450 lb load rating is the primary limit; exceeding it will cause the cylinder to drift down before any other factor.

Does the 360 degree rotation mechanism generate noticeable heat or noise during continuous operation?

The supplier describes the movement as smooth and noiseless, and the sealed cylinder design produces no measurable heat during normal all-day use.
