8U Wall-Mount Rack for 19" Equipment

The BFKK 8U wall-mount rack provides 8 rack units of open-frame space for standard 19-inch network switches, patch panels and shallow servers. It arrives fully assembled and can be mounted flat against a wall or vertically beneath a desk. Cold-rolled steel construction with an electrostatic powder coat resists rust and corrosion.

14-Inch Maximum Mounting Depth

The single specification that decides fit is the 14-inch maximum mounting depth. Equipment deeper than this limit cannot be installed, so measure each device before purchase. The open side panels allow cables to be secured along the frame for tidy routing.

50kg Load Capacity with EIA-310 Compliance

Rated at 50 kg (110 lbs), the rack comfortably holds multiple switches, a patch panel and a shallow server simultaneously. It meets EIA/ECA-310-E spacing standards, ensuring compatibility with any 19-inch rack-mount gear. Buyers needing deeper chassis or higher density should consider a full-depth cabinet instead.

Questions about this item

What does 8U actually give me for mounting 19-inch gear?

Eight rack units provide the vertical space to stack up to eight standard-height devices such as switches or patch panels in a 19-inch layout.

How does the EIA/ECA-310-E compliance affect what I can install?

It confirms the rack follows the 19-inch mounting standard, so any equipment built to that specification will bolt in correctly.

What clearance do I need on the wall for the 14-inch depth?

The frame extends 14 inches from the wall, so allow at least that depth plus cable bend radius behind the mounted equipment.
