High-density patching kit

This 24-pack of Cat6a patch cables is built for short-run connections between patch panels and switches in racks and cabinets. The 0.5 ft length keeps cable management clean in dense environments.

10 Gbps headroom on short links

Each 28 AWG stranded copper cable is rated for 550 MHz bandwidth and supports 10 Gbps speeds. The ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standard recognises 28 AWG cords for channels up to 96 metres with 90 metre permanent links.

Slim profile improves airflow

At roughly 50 % smaller diameter than 24 AWG alternatives, these white cables reduce pathway congestion and improve cooling in crowded racks. Clear snagless clips allow easy insertion and release without blocking port LEDs.

Questions about this item

Will the 28 AWG cables fit alongside standard 24 AWG patch cords in my existing patch panel?

Yes, the 28 AWG cables are at least 50% smaller in diameter than 24 AWG cables, so they fit easily in the same panel and leave more room for fingers during installation.

How can I verify the cables are delivering the rated 10G performance after installation?

The cables use gold-plated contacts and stranded pure copper conductors built to the ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standard for 96 metre channels with 90 metre permanent links, supporting 10G speeds at 550 MHz.

Does the 24-pack include only the cables or are any extra connectors or tools supplied?

The pack contains 24 Cat6a patch cables, each 0.5 ft long with snagless RJ45 clips; no additional connectors or tools are included.
