Power and Port Requirements

Each bridge provides one Ethernet port that accepts 24 V passive PoE on both 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps connections; a Cat 5e cable can carry both data and power. The supplied PoE injector powers only its dedicated PoE port, so the LAN port remains data-only. DC power input is not recommended by the manufacturer. Verify that your existing switch or router can supply 24 V passive PoE or plan to use the included injectors.

Dial Pairing and Mode Selection

The bridges can be paired by setting both units to channel 0 without accessing a web interface, reducing installation time. Once paired, the front LED display shows a steady 0 to confirm the link. Automatic switching modes include CPE, client bridge, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations, allowing the same hardware to serve different network topologies without extra software licences.
