Octagonal Crimping Kit

The BFKK kit combines an octagonal crimping plier with 1250 insulated ferrules for AWG 23-7 wiring. It covers single and dual connections for electrical maintenance on machinery, vehicles and home installations. Professional electricians and DIY enthusiasts receive a complete termination set in one package.

Replaces Separate Tool And Connector Purchases

Instead of sourcing a crimper and multiple ferrule assortments individually, this kit supplies both the ratchet tool and 140 dual plus 1110 single terminals. The jump is worth it when a project demands consistent octagonal crimps across a wide gauge range without switching dies or reordering parts.

Sustained Crimping Performance

The self-adjusting ratchet mechanism maintains uniform pressure over repeated cycles, while the non-slip nylon handle applies leverage to reduce hand fatigue. The professional-grade die keeps the octagonal profile stable during extended sessions, delivering reliable connections from the first terminal to the last.

Questions about this item

What wire gauges does the octagonal crimping plier accept?

The plier handles conductors from 0.25 to 10 mm², which covers AWG 23 through AWG 7.

How do I engage the self-adjusting ratchet correctly?

Squeeze the handles until the ratchet clicks and releases automatically; do not force the handles past the release point or the crimp will be incomplete.

When should I replace the single or dual ferrules?

The kit supplies 1110 single and 140 dual ferrules; replace any ferrule that shows cracked insulation or a deformed metal sleeve after crimping.
