Recessed Power Strip for Desks

The BFKK recessed power strip mounts flush into a conference table or standing desk, providing six AC outlets and eight USB ports in a single cut-out. It is designed for office, home and meeting-room surfaces where a low-profile power source is preferred. Installation requires a rectangular hole measuring L6 in by W2.6 in, after which the unit is screwed tight to stay secure.

45 W USB-C Power Delivery

The strip delivers up to 45 W through two USB-C ports using Power Delivery profiles of 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/2.5 A and 15 V/2 A. Two additional USB-C ports support 20 W PD, while three USB-A ports provide 20 W PD and one USB-A port offers QC 3.0 at 5 V/2.1 A. Total AC rating is 12 A at 125 V for 1500 W maximum load.

1200 J Surge Protection Under Load

An ABS+PC fire-resistant shell houses a 1200 J surge protector with over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit safeguards. These circuits remain active during sustained charging of multiple laptops and peripherals, limiting transient energy that could otherwise degrade connected equipment over long sessions. The 6 ft flat cord with a 45° flat plug keeps the feed cable tidy against the wall.

Questions about this item

How much power can the USB-C ports actually deliver to a laptop?

Two USB-C ports support up to 45W each at 15V/2.5A, and two more support up to 20W each at 15V/2A, so most ultraportables can charge at full speed.

What does the 1200J surge rating protect against in daily use?

The 1200-joule rating absorbs voltage spikes from lightning or grid switching, while the 12A breaker trips on sustained overloads above 1500W.

What size cut-out does the recessed unit need in a desk?

Cut a rectangle 6 inches long by 2.6 inches wide, then secure the strip with the included screws.
