Share four USB devices between two computers with 5 Gbps USB 3.0 speed and one-button switching
The BFKK KVM switch lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, cameras and storage drives. It works driver-free with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS for simple cross-platform switching. The unit requires the supplied USB-A-to-USB-A cables to operate.
The switch is a passive USB 3.0 hub with no fans, so it adds no audible noise and negligible heat to the desk. Bus power handles typical low-draw devices; a micro-USB 5 V 2 A input is provided for high-consumption peripherals such as hard drives or headsets. Power draw scales only with the attached devices.
The package includes the required USB-A-to-USB-A cables that enable the one-button switching and LED status indication. An extra micro-USB power port accepts a standard 5 V 2 A charger to stabilise power-hungry devices without needing a dedicated supply. No software or drivers are included or needed.

Connect each computer using the supplied USB A-to-A cables, attach up to four peripherals to the front ports, then press the selector button to choose the active PC; the step users forget is plugging in the micro-USB power adapter when running high-draw devices such as external hard drives.
The unit itself has no user-serviceable parts; keep the selector button and LED area dust-free and replace only the USB A-to-A or micro-USB power cables if they become damaged.
The 5 Gbps USB 3.0 bandwidth ceiling is reached before any other constraint, so sustained transfers from fast SSDs will plateau at that rate.
