Vertical dock with NVMe slot

This vertical docking station holds a MacBook or Mac Mini upright while adding an M.2 NVMe SSD slot that accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 drives up to 2TB. It provides a single 4K@60Hz HDMI output, two USB C 10Gbps ports, two USB A 3.0 ports, SD and microSD card readers, Gigabit Ethernet and 100W Power Delivery pass-through. The stand design frees desk space and improves airflow around the laptop.

Replaces separate hub, stand and SSD enclosure

Users who currently rely on a flat USB C hub, a separate laptop riser and an external SSD enclosure can consolidate all three into one unit. The jump is worth it when the host USB C port supports data, video and charging simultaneously and when a single external monitor is sufficient, because the dock does not support dual displays. A 65W or higher power adapter is required for full operation.

Fits into a compact desk setup

The vertical orientation reduces the footprint on the desk while keeping ports accessible at the front and rear. It needs a host USB C port with full feature support and an external power supply of at least 65W to deliver 100W PD to the laptop. The built-in NVMe slot frees up a separate drive enclosure and its cable, and the Gigabit Ethernet port removes the need for a separate network dongle.
