12-count mechanical pencil pack

One dozen BIC Xtra-Smooth No. 2 mechanical pencils arrive ready to use. The .7mm medium point suits everyday writing tasks and standardised-test requirements. Each pencil includes a built-in eraser that advances the lead with a click. The pack keeps a classroom or office supplied for extended periods.

Everyday writing performance

High-quality lead resists smudging and erases cleanly for neat results. No sharpening is ever required, so workflow stays uninterrupted. The clear barrels and coloured clips attach easily to pockets or notebooks. Reliability stays consistent across the full dozen.

Sustained classroom use

Lead supply lasts through long sessions without frequent replacement. Erasers maintain effectiveness across repeated corrections. Click mechanism continues advancing lead smoothly over time. Bulk quantity reduces the need for mid-term restocking.

Questions about this item

How do I load the three pieces of 0.7mm lead into the BIC Xtra-Smooth pencil?

Remove the eraser cap, drop the three No. 2 leads into the barrel, replace the cap, then click the eraser to advance the first piece.

When will the eraser on these pencils need replacing?

The built-in eraser wears down with use; replace it when it becomes too short to click comfortably or no longer cleans marks cleanly.

How many pages can one 0.7mm lead write before it runs out?

Each pencil ships with three No. 2 leads; one BIC mechanical pencil equals two-and-a-half wood-case pencils in writing length.
