Black Box Corporation ACX1MR-VDHID-SM server accessory

Modular Interface Card for Matrix Switch

The Black Box ACX1MR-VDHID-SM is a modular interface card designed to expand the connectivity of compatible matrix switching systems. It serves as a slot-in module that adds specific input or output ports to the chassis. This accessory targets IT administrators and integrators managing professional AV or KVM signal distribution infrastructure. It installs directly into the switch frame to increase port density.

Sustained Operation in Rack Environments

As a passive interface module, the card contains no active cooling components and relies entirely on the host switch chassis for airflow and thermal management. Its operational stability under continuous load is therefore determined by the main unit's cooling capacity and the aggregate traffic across all installed modules. The card maintains signal integrity for the duration of the switching session without introducing latency or requiring independent power cycling. It is not suited for standalone deployment outside a compatible Black Box matrix frame.
