  • Operates on standard 120 VAC 50/60 Hz power
  • Zero-U design when paired with networking roof panel

Top Fan Kit for Vertiv VR Racks

The Vertiv VRA2007 is a 120 VAC Top Fan Kit built for Vertiv VR rack enclosures. It mounts at the roof to pull hot air upward and out of the cabinet. Data-centre operators and network engineers use it to maintain front-to-rear cooling paths without consuming rack U space.

Fits Zero-U Roof Panel Mounting

This kit requires the Vertiv Networking Roof Panel to create a zero-U airflow solution. When paired, it sits above the equipment zone and leaves every rack unit free for servers or switches. No additional shelf or bracket hardware is needed beyond the roof panel itself.

120 VAC 50/60 Hz Operation

The fan runs directly from 120 VAC mains at 50 or 60 Hz, so no external power supply or DC conversion is required. Steady airflow reduces component temperatures and lowers the thermal stress that shortens hardware life. Efficient heat removal also cuts the facility cooling load, supporting lower overall energy use.
