Clear Cat.5e Modular Plug

This eight-conductor plug works with flat, oval or round cable. It accepts 24 or 26 AWG solid or stranded wire up to 0.225" (5.7 mm) in diameter. The clear housing allows quick visual inspection of wire order before crimping. It is intended for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX network links.

Installers terminating Cat.5e patch cords

Suited for technicians building or repairing Cat.5e patch cables in the field. Not for installers who need shielded connectors for noisy environments. Buyers requiring Category 6 or 6A performance should look elsewhere. Those terminating cable thicker than 5.7 mm will need a different plug body.
