Bulk Cat6 spool for installers

This 1000 ft bulk spool provides Category 6 cable on a single reel. The stranded conductors make the wire easier to pull through conduit and around corners than solid-core alternatives. It terminates directly into patch panels or keystone jacks without pre-fitted connectors. The black PVC jacket helps identify runs in crowded pathways.

Stranded construction aids termination

Stranded wires flex repeatedly without work-hardening, so re-punching a jack or routing through tight bends is less likely to break a conductor. The bare-wire ends on both sides mean every drop is cut to exact length on site. RoHS and WEEE markings confirm the materials meet restricted-substance rules. A lifetime limited warranty backs the cable itself.

550 MHz bandwidth with distance limits

Rated to 550 MHz, the cable supports gigabit speeds over the full 1000 ft when installed correctly. Attenuation rises with length, so runs approaching the 100 m channel limit need careful testing. Unshielded design offers no protection against strong EMI near motors or fluorescent ballasts. Buyers needing factory-terminated patch cords or shielded cable for noisy environments should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the stranded conductors fatigue if the 1000 ft run is pulled through conduit bends?

Stranded construction tolerates repeated flexing better than solid core, so pulling through bends is less likely to cause conductor fatigue.

At what frequency does the 550 MHz rating limit usable bandwidth on this Cat6 spool?

The 550 MHz rating defines the tested bandwidth ceiling; signals above that frequency will see increased attenuation and crosstalk.

Does the PVC jacket add noticeable heat retention when the cable carries PoE loads all day?

Standard PVC jacket does not significantly trap heat; temperature rise under continuous PoE load stays within normal Cat6 operating limits.
