Solid copper bulk cable for installers

This 1000 ft pull box contains unshielded Category 6 cable with 23 AWG solid-copper conductors. The plenum-rated jacket meets fire-code requirements and is coloured green for easy identification. It is supplied as bare wire on both ends for field termination.

Suited for structured wiring projects that need

Installers running horizontal or backbone links in commercial buildings will value the ETL-verified 550 MHz bandwidth and lifetime guarantee. Buyers who need pre-terminated patch cords, shielded cable for noisy environments, or a different jacket colour should look at other listings.

550 MHz ETL-verified bandwidth

The cable is tested four times a year to confirm it meets the 550 MHz channel specification. This single figure determines whether the link will support the intended application speed over the full installed length.

Questions about this item

What does the 550 MHz rating mean for this Cat 6 cable?

The 550 MHz bandwidth supports Gigabit Ethernet and other Cat 6 applications across the full 1000 ft length.

What physical space does the 1000 ft pull box need for installation?

The pull box feeds solid 23 AWG conductors through conduit or cable tray; allow enough clearance for the box dimensions and minimum bend radius.

How is the bare-wire cable terminated, and what mistake should be avoided?

Terminate each 23 AWG solid conductor on a Cat 6 jack or patch panel while maintaining pair twists as close to the contact as possible.
