Black Box Corporation GigaTrue Cat. 6 Snagless UTP Patch Cable 1ft EVNSL6440001

1 ft Cat 6 UTP patch cable

This 1 ft Cat 6 unshielded twisted-pair patch cable is built for full broadband and baseband video. It delivers full Power Sum performance and full-duplex operation. Meets balance requirements for LCL and LCTL. Improved attenuation gives cleaner data and video transmissions.

Installers needing a short Cat 6 link

Suits installers who need a short Cat 6 link with verified balance and skew figures. Not for runs that exceed the tested 100 m channel length. Buyers who require shielded construction should look at a different cable type.

Attenuation and delay-skew limits

Attenuation is 23.6 dB at 100 MHz and 39.1 dB at 250 MHz. Maximum delay skew is 25 ns per 100 m (328 ft). Impedance is 100 ± 15 ohms at 100 MHz and 100 ± 22 ohms at 100-550 MHz. These numbers decide whether the cable fits the link budget.
