ServSwitch CX Uno Remote Access Module

The Black Box Corporation KV04U-REM adds a remote USB console connection to a ServSwitch CX Uno KVM switch. It enables control of attached servers from a distant keyboard, monitor and mouse using CATx cabling. This module suits administrators who need to manage equipment located in a separate room or secure rack area. It installs directly into the compatible switch to extend operator reach.

Check ServSwitch CX Uno compatibility before

Verify that the existing KVM switch is a ServSwitch CX Uno model that accepts this remote access module. Confirm the installation site has a CATx cable run between the switch location and the desired remote console position. Ensure the remote console provides standard USB keyboard and mouse ports plus a video input matching the switch output. The module does not function with other KVM brands or switch families.
