The Black Box KVS4-1004D is a NIAP 4.0 certified KVM switch designed for environments that require verified isolation between connected systems. It allows a single operator to control four separate computers from one DVI-I monitor, keyboard and mouse. This hardware solution targets government agencies, defence contractors and financial institutions where data separation is mandated.

Single-Head DVI-I Integration

The unit occupies one DVI-I video port and USB keyboard and mouse ports on each host computer, consolidating four sets of peripherals into a single workstation. A 12 VDC wall-mount supply with interchangeable US, EU, UK and AU clips provides power, while four pre-attached rubber feet keep the chassis stable on a desk or shelf. No software drivers are required on the connected systems.

Four-Port Secure Switching Capacity

The switch comfortably handles four isolated computers sharing one DVI-I display and USB console, maintaining strict port-to-port separation certified to NIAP 4.0. It runs out of headroom when a fifth system must be added or when dual-monitor output is required, as the hardware supports only a single video head per installation.
