PoE+ Ethernet Repeater for Extended Reach

The Black Box Corporation LPR1111 extends Power over Ethernet connections beyond the standard 100-meter CATx limit. It passes both data and power to remote devices such as wireless access points and IP cameras without requiring a separate power supply. Network installers can deploy a single unit for an extra 100 meters or 328 feet of reach.

Sustained Operation Across Daisy-Chained Links

Up to five repeaters can be connected in series to achieve a total span of 600 meters while maintaining 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps throughput. Each unit provides one PD input port and one PSE output port, forwarding power and data continuously without signal regeneration delays. The device draws operating power directly from the PoE source, eliminating the need for local AC outlets at each hop.

Upgrade from Standard Ethernet Distance Limits

This repeater replaces the need for mid-span power injectors or fibre media converters when the only obstacle is copper distance. The jump is worth it for installers who must reach cameras or access points beyond 100 meters and prefer to stay on CATx cabling. It is not suited for scenarios that require signal conversion to fibre or for non-PoE network segments.
