Solid-Core Cat6 for Infrastructure

This 1000 ft spool of Category 6 cable uses solid conductors and F/UTP shielding with a PVC jacket. It is designed for permanent installation in walls, ceilings or conduit where the cable will not be moved after termination. The green jacket provides easy visual identification in structured cabling projects.

400 MHz Rating Over Long Runs

The cable is specified at 400 MHz bandwidth, supporting Gigabit Ethernet performance across the full 1000 ft length when properly terminated. Solid conductors maintain consistent impedance on extended horizontal runs better than stranded alternatives. Shielding reduces alien crosstalk in dense cable bundles.

Verify Termination Gear and Pathway Space

Confirm you have punch-down tools and compatible Cat6 jacks or patch panels rated for solid wire before ordering. Ensure conduit or tray capacity can accommodate the F/UTP jacket diameter over the full route. The bare-wire ends require termination on both sides; no factory connectors are fitted.
