Black Box GigaTrue CAT6A 650-MHz Bulk Cable PVC Riser Solid Green 1000 ft

Solid CAT6A bulk cable for structured wiring

This Green 1000 ft spool is built for permanent horizontal runs in commercial and residential structured cabling systems. The solid conductors meet CAT6A performance up to 650 MHz and the PVC riser jacket satisfies CMR fire-safety requirements for vertical shafts.

Pulling solid riser cable needs care

Solid conductors resist bending fatigue but kink if pulled around tight corners or over sharp edges. Use a proper cable puller, maintain the minimum bend radius, and avoid exceeding 25 lb pulling tension. Terminate with CAT6A-rated keystones or patch panels using a punch-down tool matched to the wire gauge.

CAT6A channel distance limits the usable run length

The standard caps a full channel at 100 m including patch cords, so the practical horizontal run from this 1000 ft reel is shorter once cross-connects and equipment cords are counted. Alien crosstalk margins tighten at 650 MHz, so keep pair twists intact to the termination point and test every link with a qualified certifier.
