20U Wide Wallmount Rack Frame

The Black Box RM069A-R3 is a steel wallmount frame that provides 20U of rack space for network equipment, patch panels and small servers. It suits installers who need a shallow-profile cabinet that bolts directly to a structural wall in a wiring closet or equipment room.

Straightforward wall mounting with 75 lb limit

The frame mounts to studs or concrete using the installer's chosen hardware; no proprietary brackets are included. Depth is 18 inches so deep chassis or long cable managers may not fit. Maximum load is 75 lb, so heavier UPS units or dense blade enclosures exceed the rated capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 20U frame is holding its rated 75 lb load after installation?

Mount the unit to wall studs, load equipment evenly across the 20U height, and verify the steel frame shows no deflection or bowing at the 18" depth.

What ships with the RM069A-R3 and which mounting hardware must be sourced separately?

The rack frame itself is included; lag bolts or concrete anchors rated for the 75 lb capacity and your wall type are not supplied.
