The Blink 53-024845 kit includes three battery-powered cameras that connect over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to a Sync Module 2. Each unit captures 1080p video with a 110-degree field of view and infrared night vision. It is not suited for buyers who need continuous 24/7 recording or local storage without a separate USB drive.

Two-year battery operation

Blink’s proprietary chip technology lets each camera run for up to two years on the two included AA 1.5 V lithium batteries under typical motion-triggered use. The cameras stay in a low-power standby state until the PIR sensor detects movement, at which point they wake, record a clip, and return to sleep. This duty cycle preserves capacity but means the system is not designed for constant live streaming or high-frequency triggering in busy areas.

Weather-resistant and silent

The housings are built to withstand rain, heat and cold for year-round outdoor mounting. With no fans or moving parts, the cameras operate silently and draw negligible power while idle. The Sync Module 2 plugs into mains power via the supplied adapter and handles cloud connectivity plus optional local backup to a USB flash drive sold separately.
