Bluecctv 720p HD-SDI Vandal Dome

This Bluecctv camera delivers 720p HD video over HD-SDI using a 1/2.9" progressive CMOS imager with 1312 x 740 effective pixels. A fixed 3.6mm megapixel lens covers the scene while 24 IR LEDs at 850 nm provide night vision with Smart IR and 2D-DNR. The vandal-proof, IP66-rated white dome handles outdoor exposure on 12V DC power.

Installers needing coaxial HD-SDI runs up to 500

Suits installers who want megapixel clarity over existing coaxial cable without IP networking. The true day/night ICR and Smart IR serve low-light monitoring around the clock. Not for buyers who need IP streaming, PoE power, motorised varifocal lenses, or resolutions above 720p.

Check DVR compatibility

The camera only works with HD-SDI compatible DVR systems, so verify your recorder accepts HD-SDI input. Ensure the coaxial run stays within the supported distance and that a 12V DC supply is available at the mounting point. Confirm the IP66 rating matches the intended outdoor environment.

Questions about this item

Does this camera need an HD-SDI compatible DVR to operate?

Yes, the camera only works with an HD-SDI compatible DVR system; standard analogue recorders will not accept its signal.

Can I run the video cable longer than 500 feet without signal loss?

The manufacturer rates the HD-SDI link for 500+ feet; distances beyond that are not guaranteed and may require a repeater or fibre converter.

How can I verify the IR LEDs are functioning after installation?

In darkness the 24 LEDs emit 850 nm light; the camera switches to monochrome via the ICR and the DVR should display a clear night image.
